Gilli Café

My boyfriend and I love this cafe! The environment here is so welcoming and cozy, perfect for relaxing with friends and family. The second isa playground for kids. The food here is absolutely delicious! From the hearty breakfast options to the mouthwatering desserts, everything is prepared with care and tastes amazing. The staff are always friendly, making our visits even more enjoyable. This place has become our go-to spot for a great meal and a wonderful time. Highly recommend it!

We visited on a Thursday around 11 and it wasn’t busy at all. Plenty of tables and chairs situated in the downstairs cafe. We brought our 3 kids with us, such an awesome brunch/coffee spot especially for families with kids. There is an indoor play space (generous size) upstairs but not wheelchair accessible or pram accessible. I loved that shoes are to be removed before entering the play area. There is a separate room (seated area) upstairs by the kids play space for parents to sit and have a meal/coffee. Food is amazing and coffee is top tier. Staff were amazing and had exceptional service. There is plenty of street parking out the front - pay and display. The only downfall is that they don’t have a baby change toilet/room. Will definitely be recommending and coming back again.

This cozy café near the CBD, tucked away in Newmarket, has become one of our favorite spots. They serve the best waffles, with an XL size that’s perfect for sharing. We always go for the Chocolate Banana Split waffle, which comes with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream—an absolute treat! What makes this place even more special is the relaxed atmosphere, with plenty of books and games to enjoy while savoring your dessert. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and indulge in something delicious. Highly recommend!

A parent-child coffee shop with a full atmosphere. The food is good-looking and delicious, and the coffee is also very mellow. The little swan with latte art is very popular. The children had a lot of fun in the play area on the second floor. It is worth visiting many times.

Stopped in for a bit of lunch. This place is really nice inside despite seeming like a few venu types. Cafe, wine bar, kids zone, etc. My wife and I really enjoyed the food. The only reason 5 the 4 stars is that the Hollandaise sauce is a packet one not made by the chef. You can really taste the difference, and this one always gets my tummy a bit upset. Other the food was really good and the coffee was spot on. We will definitely pop back in when next in town. It is the perfect space to gather with friends or colleagues.
